A visually impaired sponsored child completes high school
Victoria Miaze has graduated today with a degree in Secondary Education!
Thanks to the dedication of Madam Brenda for continuous motivation and sponsorship.

Victoria’s journey began in 2014, when her visually impaired father brought her to Dekap Liberia in search of educational support. As a partially sighted child, Victoria faced unique challenges, but she found hope through Dekap Liberia’s sponsorship program, which provided everything from tuition to mentorship.
Tragically, she lost her father leaving her with only her mother, who also faced visual disabilities. Despite these obstacles, Victoria pressed on, advancing through high school, graduating with a diploma, and receiving unwavering support from Dekap Incorporated Liberia and KEEP Liberia’s partnership. From tuition to uniforms, shoes, notebooks, and even love and guidance, they ensured that Victoria’s path forward was clear.

Victoria’s story didn’t end with her high school diploma. She was given the chance to intern at KEEP Liberia, gaining valuable experience while pursuing her higher education. This empowered Victoria to reach for her dreams, and today, she proudly holds a degree in Secondary Education from Lacrosse Teacher’s College.
Victoria’s success is a testament to the transformative power of education, mentorship, and unwavering support. Her journey also recognizes the tireless efforts of Moses Buwee and Grace Peabody, whose contributions have helped shape her path.
Congratulations, Victoria Miaze! Your future is bright, and your journey has only just begun.
