Keeps Children Safe: Vetted neighborhood partnerships mean shorter, safer walks to school.

Restores Dignity: Children enter the classroom fully equipped, equal to their peers, and ready to focus.

Empowers Families: Supporting mothers with small business startups ensures households stay stable long after the school year ends.

Empowering Families, One Sachet at a TimeĀ

DEKAP is proud to provide start-up assets to support beneficiaries in launching sustainable home-based sachet water businesses. Each kit includes:

• 30 Igloo Coolers

Together for Education: Supporting Vulnerable Children to Access Schooling

What is the Together for Education Fund?

The Together for Education Fund is DEKAP’s flagship initiative dedicated to ensuring that children from vulnerable and disability-affected families have access to quality education.

Simultaneously, the fund works to empower caregivers to build sustainable livelihoods, creating a lasting impact from the ground up.

Since 2014, DEKAP Liberia Inc. has been a champion for inclusion and support. Now, we are taking our mission to the next level.

This fund unites child sponsorship, school readiness, and mothers’ economic empowerment under one powerful umbrella to ensure that no child is left behind.

Our Core Belief: No child should ever be denied the right to learn because of poverty or disability.

Our Core Objectives are clear:

šŸŽ’ School Readiness: Providing – comprehensive school readiness packages to prepare children for success.

šŸ“ Tuition Support: Covering annual tuition and fees to keep kids in school where they belong.

♿ Inclusive Learning: Supplying assistive devices and specialized learning materials for children with disabilities.

šŸ’¼ Maternal Empowerment: Empowering mothers with disabilities through small livelihood support to create sustainable family economic structures.

šŸ¤ Zero Exclusion: Ensuring that poverty and disability never stand in the way of a child’s future.

Why Your Support Matters:

For over a decade, DEKAP has believed in the power of community and inclusion.

But we cannot do this alone.

True, lasting impact happens when we come together.

Disabled Mothers’ Day 2026: Honoring, Uplifting, and Empowering Mothers with Disabilities

Disabled Mother’s Day 2026 – Honoring, Uplifting, and Empowering Mothers with Disabilities!

We are still inspired by the incredible energy at our recent Disabled Mothers’ Day Celebration!

This meaningful gathering was all about amplifying the voices of mothers with disabilities and vulnerable non-disabled mothers in our communities, reaffirming our commitment to dignity and inclusion.

Turning Advocacy into Action:

We don’t just speak about empowerment—we act on it.

As part of the program, two resilient mothers and one dedicated volunteer with physical disabilities received brand-new freezers to launch their own home-based sachet water businesses!

This initiative provides sustainable income, helping these families move away from street begging and toward true economic independence.

A Heartfelt Thank You:

We are deeply grateful to Hon. Madam Fatima Bintu Sirleaf and her representative, Madam Vivian, for delivering a powerful message of hope.

Special thanks also to Madam Catherine, representing the Executive Director of the National Commission on Disabilities (NCD), for her encouraging words and solidarity.

As grassroots NGO, DEKAP Liberia Inc. will keep fighting at the intersection of gender equality, disability inclusion, and human rights.

Together with our amazing partners, we are building a world where every mother can thrive with dignity.

Thank you to everyone who made this day a success especially Dekap passionate volunteer staff.

Thanks to Doxxbet Liberia for the donation of 3 freezers.

Campaign Title: “One Freezer, One Woman: Help A Woman with Disability Start Her Own Home Based Cold Water Business .

Appeal Call: One Freezer, One Woman
No woman should risk her life and her child’s safety begging between moving vehicles just to survive. Street begging in traffic is dangerous, strips away dignity, and exposes children to harm instead of protection.
Let’s replace survival on the streets with a safe, home-based cold water business.
